Welcome to our hostel
Not only does this hostel have two resident goats, it is in a picture perfect setting overlooking Godfrey’s Castle which is thought to date back to the 8th century. With dozens of trails on the doorstep this hostel is a firm favourite for walkers and hikers who also like a beer! (There is a well-hidden wooded path from the town which the staff will let you know about as a short cut!)
The town of Bouillon has its own brewery which produces more than 300 beers and what’s even better is that you can take a tour and sample some of the produce. There are also outdoor activity centres close by which are great to entertain school groups with climbing walls and zip wires.
Motivated and inspired by this magical and privileged location, the hostel cook, Marie-José, prepares authentic cuisine daily for you to enjoy. There are two restaurants – one which has stunning views of the panorama and the castle and there is also a terrace where you can enjoy a beer from one of the local micro-breweries which are stocked in the bar.
The knowledgeable staff are on hand to help you organise your itinerary and there are classrooms available should your groups need a space to gather before the day’s activities. Rooms are configured in a number of ways so that they meet with all groups’ needs – including private rooms for driver and leaders.
