Welcome to our hostel

The youth hostel Grindelwald truly is a picture postcard Swiss chalet. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. You can warm up by the fireplace in the hall. The games room offers board games, table tennis and table football. You can also play the piano or the guitar here. Wi-Fi is free of charge in all public areas. All rooms at youth hostel Grindelwald have wooden furniture and offer nice mountain views.
In the winter there are no end of skiing opportunities – the hostel has a ski and boot storage. Even if you are visiting in the summer then skiers can still take advantage of year-round snow at the nearby glacier. Don’t miss your chance to travel to the Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe at 3454 metres. If you enjoy hiking, the region offers over 500km of hiking routs.
The youth hostel serves a daily buffet breakfast. Dinner and packed lunches are available on request.
