Welcome to our hostel
Whether your group is travelling to Seattle to visit the Experience Music Project, a Rock ‘n’ Roll museum with a special Jimi Hendrix exhibit, or you are visiting to see the Space Needle, our hostel will meet all your group needs.
Located in the Chinatown / International district of the city, this large hostel which opened as the American Hotel in 1926 - which was refurbished in 2009 - is near many major transport routes meaning that access to all attractions is easy.
City Hall is just a minutes from the hostel front door and within a couple blocks is Pioneer Square where you can take the Underground Tour. If you want to get out on the water, the Puget Sound waterfront piers with ferry service to the San Juan Islands, Vashon Island, and Victoria (British Columbia, Canada) can all be easily reached.
Sports groups will want to take in a game whilst staying in the city. Baseball? See the Seattle Mariners play at Safeco Field. American Football? See the Seahawks at home in Qwest Field. Ask at reception as the staff may well be able to help you organise tickets.
And if you are interested on getting on your bike, then Seattle is one of the best cities for two wheels in the USA. Try out the Burke Gilman Trail which is a 26-mile paved path running from Golden Gardens Park on Puget Sound to Bothell Landing where it connects to Sammamish River Trail.
If you are interested in finding out about the real Seattle, why not book your place on one of the tours which is organised at the hostel? There are walking tours of the city and guided tours of the local pubs. And all are delivered by locals.
So if your group is looking to discover the Emerald City, then why not make an enquiry at our hostel in Seattle now?
