Hostelling International

Welcome to our hostel

"Bringing school groups outdoors is becoming expensive. Hostelling allows us to cook our own meals which keeps the price down and kids outside!"

HI-Victoria's location gives groups great access to exploring Canada's western most capital in a safe and secure heritage building with 24 hour reception. The hostel is a five minute walk to the picturesque Victoria waterfront, the BC legislature buildings, and the Royal British Columbia Museum, making it ideal for school groups or those looking for a starting point to explore Vancouver Island.

Victoria also has the mildest climate in Canada making it a year round destination for all types of groups. Known as the ‘Garden City’ it is also a great base to book up a whale watching tour or see Salmon spawning.

This hostel offers dormitory accommodation only. Several of the smaller dormitory rooms may be converted to private rooms for group leaders (subject to availability). All guests are provided with bed linen, pillows, blanket and towels.

If your group would like to meet the friendly team in Victoria, then make an enquiry today!
