Welcome to our hostel
If your group is planning a trip to the capital city of the United States, then why not make an enquiry at our hostel in Washington DC?
Ideally situated to see the sights, the hostel is a mere eight blocks from one of the most iconic buildings in the world – the White House. It is just four blocks from Chinatown and if you want to see more of the city, just hop on the subway which is just three blocks away.
A great way to see all that DC has to offer is by getting on a bike. It was the first city in North America to offer a bike-sharing service and as it is quite flat, it’s a great way to see a lot quickly and easily. There are a number of city trails – ask at the hostel reception about hiring a bike.
No visit to Washington DC would be complete without seeing The Mall. This unique park is filled with monuments, museums and memorials. To name but a few - The White House, the US Capitol Building, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial and Reflecting Pool, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the National Gallery of Art, the National Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of Natural History, and the Holocaust Museum are all within walking distance of each other.
After a busy day’s sightseeing you can kick back and relax at the hostel. The friendly staff often organise theme dinners, walking tours of the city and visits to the best local pubs.
Breakfast is included in the price (as are your sheets and body wash in all the bathrooms) and while you are staying there, say hello to John the chef who can greet you with a ‘Good morning’ in no less than 65 languages!
