Group accommodation in Salzburg

10 Entries

Our group accommodation in Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, is set in a location popular with all types of group trips due to its abundance of history, architecture and classical music festivals. Salzburg is Austria’s fourth-largest city and manages to expertly blend tradition with modernity in a beautiful setting, justifying its UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Due to its links to the ‘Sound of Music’, its connection to Mozart, its Mozart museum and its array of classical music festivals – the city is a hugely popular group trip destination with choir groups, music students and groups of ‘Sound of Music’ devotees. With a scenic Alpine backdrop, the city boasts a varied cultural scene including galleries, museums, restaurants, shopping districts, churches, castles and palaces – meaning that there is something for every taste. The Salzach River winds through the city separating it into two halves and offering groups the wonderful opportunity to take on a sightseeing river cruise. School groups and those on educational trips to Salzburg won’t want to miss the Old Town - one of the best preserved city centres north of the Alps and home to some internationally renowned Baroque architecture.
